Football Recap: Strong Performance on D from Isaiah Daniels and Cash Mcafee Leads Foothill over Rosamond + How To Watch

Foothill won the last time they faced Rosamond, and Andrew Trevino did his part to make sure it happened again. The Trojans put the hurt on the Roadrunners with a sharp 54-30 win on Friday thanks in part to Trevino, who rushed for 225 yards and three TDs while picking up 11.3 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 121.2 rushing yards per game.

Foothill didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Isaiah Daniels and Cash McAfee. McAfee got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Rosamond's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Marvin Alvarado, who threw for 217 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and Isreal Valero, who gained 118 total yards.

Foothill now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Rosamond, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Foothill will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mira Monte at 7:00 p.m. on October 2. As for Rosamond, they will take on Brentwood School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Roadrunners will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
