With a playoff game on the line, Texico rose to the challenge  on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Laguna Acoma Hawks as they made off with  a  3-0 victory. The Wolverines are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 11 straight.
 Texico never let Laguna Acoma on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-23,  25-11.
  Abby Haakma was the offensive standout of the  game as she  had 15  digs and two  aces. That's the most  aces  she has posted  in her last seven  contests.
 Texico  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 11  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least eight  aces in 20 consecutive  matches.
 Despite the loss, Laguna Acoma still got an impressive performance from   Tavani Scott, who  had seven  digs.
 Texico has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 16 of their last 17 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 23-3 record  this season. As for Laguna Acoma, their loss dropped their record down to 21-5.
 Texico wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  game,  a  3-1  win against Mesilla Valley Christian School on the 16th. Laguna Acoma does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
