L'Anse Creuse suffered a rough 70-48 defeat at the hands of Utica on Thursday. L'Anse Creuse was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-22.
Mason Brodi was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with 5 steals for Utica. That makes it three consecutive games in which Brodi has scored at least 25% of Utica's points. Sebastian Soriano was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
L'Anse Creuse still hasn't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3. As for Utica, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. L'Anse Creuse will take on L'Anse Creuse North at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Utica, they will head out on the road to face off against Romeo at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
