Edna Karr was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cubs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
When it comes to explaining why Edna Karr lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tori Walker. Despite the final result, she scored 12 points.
Edna Karr has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-14 record this season. As for Mt. Carmel, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-14.
