The Monrovia Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Edgewood Mustangs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Monrovia is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
12 must be Monrovia's lucky number: they beat Speedway with that score not once but twice on Wednesday. The Bulldogs beat the Sparkplugs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 12-2.

Harlow Toole spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits and racked up nine Ks. Those nine strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
At the plate, Camryn Wolfe was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April. Brylee Stwalley also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, while Edgewood put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Northview. The Mustangs came out on top against the Knights by a score of 5-0. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.
The result came thanks to ALLY BLAND's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up 16 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 16 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on JAYDEN STEPHENS, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of ELLA SPROUL, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Monrovia's record now sits at 8-11. As for Edgewood, their record is now 15-3.
Monrovia suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Edgewood when the teams last played back in May of 2022. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
