The South Fayette Lions lost against the Upper St. Clair Panthers back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. South Fayette took a 34-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of Upper St. Clair. South Fayette has struggled against Upper St. Clair recently, as their contest on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
South Fayette's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nico Lamonde, who threw for 260 yards and two touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Knox, who picked up 115 receiving yards and a touchdown.
South Fayette's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Upper St. Clair, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.
South Fayette does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Upper St. Clair also has no future games currently scheduled.
