The Annapolis Area Christian Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They fell 67-56 to Chapelgate Christian Academy. Annapolis Area Christian has not had much luck with Chapelgate Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Chapelgate Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Justin Bishop, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Julian Sabbat, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.
Annapolis Area Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Chapelgate Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Annapolis Area Christian will take on St. John's Catholic Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chapelgate Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Archbishop Curley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
