The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. On Thursday Oswego will take on Udall at 6:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Oswego, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Oswego had enough points to win and then some against Flinthills last Friday, taking their match 38-18. No one put up better numbers for Oswego than junior Jace Wilson, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 195 yards and 3 touchdowns. Wilson has now scored at least one touchdown in the past eight games.
Meanwhile, Udall put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They steamrollered Oxford 48-0. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (42) and coasted on those for the victory.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 6-2. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
