Basketball Game Preview: Victory Christian Academy Storm vs. All Saints' Academy Saints

The Victory Christian Academy Storm will take on the All Saints' Academy Saints at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Victory Christian Academy has three straight wins, All Saints' Academy has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Victory Christian Academy is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing Lakeland: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Victory Christian Academy blew Lakeland out of the water with a 55-4 final score. Victory Christian Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-9. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.7 points per game. As for All Saints' Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.

Everything went Victory Christian Academy's way against All Saints' Academy when the teams last played back in January of 2023, as Victory Christian Academy made off with a 51-25 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was All Saints' Academy's Piper Fennessy, who had 21 points.
