The Foster Falcons will head out on the road to challenge the Fulshear Chargers at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Foster will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 379th, while Fulshear is ranked 156th).
Last Friday, Foster came up short against Terry and fell 4-2. Foster has struggled against Terry recently, as their game on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Fulshear's last contest on Friday was all defense as neither team scored a goal. They and Fort Bend Kempner finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw. The result kept Fulshear happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 19th.
Foster's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5-1. Fulshear's draw gives them a new season record of 7-2-3.
Foster came up short against Fulshear in their previous meeting back in March of 2023, falling 4-2. Can Foster avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
