Chesterton waltzed into their contest on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the La Porte Slicers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on April 2nd.
The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-21.
Bryton Oliver paced Chesterton's offense, picking up 11 kills. Oliver got some help from Declan Ringler and his 36 assists. George O'Connor controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
Chesterton's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-1. As for La Porte, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.
