The Wiggins Tigers kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 63-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Limon. Wiggins has not had much luck with Limon recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Wiggins lost, one person who can't be blamed is Trey Huwa. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points along with 7 steals. Jackson Adams was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Wiggins' defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Limon, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Wiggins will face off against Peyton at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Peyton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Friday. As for Limon, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Simla at 5:30 p.m.
