On Friday, Suwannee took a serious blow against Ashley Ridge, falling 64-32. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Suwannee has scored all season.
Leading Ashley Ridge to victory were Clayton Everett and Jahlil Hope. Everett scored 12 points, while Hope dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. Those 13 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Jordan Davis, who scored eight points.
Suwannee has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Ashley Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Suwannee's road trip will continue as they head out to face Middleburg at 3:30 p.m. on December 16th. Middleburg is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
