This season hasn't been kind to the Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers, who are still winless after their fourth game. They took a serious blow against Carrollton on Thursday, falling 52-22. Greenfield/Northwestern was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-11.
It was another big night for Lauren Flowers, who scored 16 points along with 9 rebounds for Carrollton. That makes it three consecutive games in which Flowers has scored at least 25% of Carrollton's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Darci Albrecht, who scored 7 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 blocks.
Greenfield/Northwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Carrollton, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenfield/Northwestern will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lincolnwood at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for Carrollton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Brown County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
