There's no place like home for Cristo Rey St. Martin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Lake County Baptist Lions by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The CRSM haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Cristo Rey St. Martin easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-19.

Cristo Rey St. Martin's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Lake County Baptist, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Cristo Rey St. Martin will venture away from home to take on Zion-Benton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lake County Baptist, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Logos Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
