Aquinas Academy barely beat Eden Christian Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Crusaders' defense stepped up to hand Eden Christian Academy a 4-0 shutout on Saturday. Considering Aquinas Academy have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Aquinas Academy pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four matchups. As for Eden Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Looking ahead, Aquinas Academy will head out on the road to take on Seton LaSalle at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Eden Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Beaver.
