Despite the loss, Perry still got an impressive performance from Geren Kenney, who scored 30 points along with 7 rebounds. The contest was Kenney's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zander Mahler, who scored 5 points along with 5 steals.
Perry's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for South Hamilton, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry will take on Prairie City-Monroe at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Iowa (Prairie City-Monroe is ranked 227th, while Perry is ranked 212th). As for South Hamilton, they will play host again and welcome West Marshall, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Marshall is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
