The Trinity Episcopal Titans will take on the Flint Hill Huskies at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
On Thursday, Trinity Episcopal earned an 11-7 win over Saint Gertrude. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Gators recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Cooper Beatty made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ava Hoyle, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024. Magovern Rollins was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.
Meanwhile, Flint Hill got themselves on the board against St. Andrew's Episcopal on Thursday, but St. Andrew's Episcopal never followed suit. They blew past the Lions 23-0. With that win, the Huskies brought their scoring average up to 10.2 runs per game.
Like Trinity Episcopal, Flint Hill also got a great game from a two-way player: Cate Stanley. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over 4.2 innings pitched. Stanley also allowed three hits, marking her first of the season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances.
In other batting news, Flint Hill got a massive performance out of Jane Stanley, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with four runs, five RBI, and two doubles. Those doubles were Stanley's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Zaina Gilbert, who scored four runs and stole three bases while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances.
Flint Hill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .694. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Flint Hill's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Trinity Episcopal, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Saturday. Trinity Episcopal hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.4 home runs per game. However, it's not like Flint Hill struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.8 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
