The Rockport-Fulton Pirates's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Jones, falling 67-38. Rockport-Fulton has struggled against Jones recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Aariana Valadez was Rockport-Fulton's leading scorer, having posted 14 points.
Kaila Flaherty held things down on the boards with 11 rebounds.

It was another big night for Kaydence Menchaca, who scored 29 points along with three steals for Jones. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Menchaca has scored all season. Abby Del Bosque was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds.
Rockport-Fulton has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-23 record this season. As for Jones, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-12.
Rockport-Fulton will be playing in front of their home fans against Calhoun at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Rockport-Fulton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday. As for Jones, they will head out on the road to take on West Oso at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. West Oso is coming into the game with seven straight victories at home, so Jones is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
