Seaholm came tearing into Thursday's contest with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Avondale Yellowjackets a 13-0 shutout. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 19-4 victory on Thursday.

Ryan Pfeiffer and Brandon Gottesman made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Pfeiffer pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Gottesman pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave Pfeiffer a new career-high in strikeouts (four). At the plate, Pfeiffer got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Gottesman went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Patrick Hughes was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That's the most hits he has posted over his last ten matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Cobie Early, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

Seaholm kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in eight consecutive games.

Seaholm pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Avondale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
