On Friday Parkersburg will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will venture away from home to  face off against the Jefferson Cougars  at 7:30  p.m. After  the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents,  one won't be so lucky on Friday.
 Parkersburg is headed into the  contest having just  posted their biggest  win since September 6th on Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  29-6 margin over Musselman.
  Jakel Shelton continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 203 yards while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ethan Jones, who rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown.
 Parkersburg was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 287  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 Parkersburg wouldn't let Musselman keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Parkersburg can thank  Zane Lewis and  Aeneas Lauderman for forcing both of them.
 Meanwhile, Jefferson waltzed into their match  on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They claimed a resounding  40-13 victory over the Patriots. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won six matchups by 22  points or more  so far this season.
 Jefferson pushed their record up to 7-3 with the  win, which was their third straight  at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 45.3 points per game. As for Parkersburg, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
