Bellevue East lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Trey Tolbert, who scored 17 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Kael Walker, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Even though they lost, Bellevue East were working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Bellevue East has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season. As for Lincoln High, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-13.
