Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mechanicville). They never let the Hoosic Valley Hawks get on the board and left with a 20-0 victory on Friday. With that win, the Red Raiders brought their scoring average up to 7 runs per game.
Paige Rogers was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
