After flying high against the Jackson Academy Eagles on Monday, the Snook Christian Academy Eagles came back down to earth. Snook Christian Academy fell to Resurrection Catholic 48-43.
When it comes to explaining why Snook Christian Academy lost on Tuesday, one person who can't be blamed is Roshad Harris. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. The contest was Harris' 13th in a row with at least ten points. Josh Gabel was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds.
Snook Christian Academy has fallen quite a ways from their 16-4 record last season and are now at 5-8. As for Resurrection Catholic, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Snook Christian Academy's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Rocky Bayou Christian at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th. Rocky Bayou Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Resurrection Catholic will be home for the holidays to greet Sacred Heart at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sacred Heart is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
