The Millville Quakers will look to defend their home field  on Saturday against the Sayre Redskins  at 1:00  p.m. Sayre took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Millville, who comes in off a win.
Millville barely beat Bucktail the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Millville was the clear victor by  a  23-3 margin over Bucktail on Monday. The Quakers haven't had any issues with the Bucks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive  win against them.
 Chase Reynolds made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  struck out nine batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. Reynolds was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Gavin Brown was a standout: he scored three  runs and  stole four bases while  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances.  Shane Johnson was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing three bases while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, Sayre was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight  loss  dating back to last season. They fell  11-8 to Williamson.
Like Millville, Sayre also got a great game from a two-way player:  Shaine Strickland. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out eight over 4.2 innings pitched. Strickland was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. Those  two  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Nick Pellicano Jr. made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Millville now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for Sayre, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
