On Saturday, everything came up roses for Madison Academy on the road against Arnold as the team secured a 52-25 victory.
Several Marlins players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ashley Steen, who scored eight points. Kaylee Vial was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Madison Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Arnold, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Dayspring Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 11, 2024. Arnold and Chipley will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
