Even though they lost, Oilton didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and finished the game with seven strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oklahoma Christian Academy only tossed three.
Mounds won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. Their rough 12-4 loss to Chouteau-Mazie might stick with them for a while.
Oilton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Mounds, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-11.
