Braydin Roesner and Daniel Brownfield made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Roesner didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Brownfield tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Roesner has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. At bat, Roesner went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs, while Brownfield went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave Roesner a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Lima Senior fell victim to Celina and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 25-0. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Start's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Lima Senior, their loss dropped their record down to 6-15.
Lima Senior's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Start hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .341. It's a different story for Lima Senior, though, as they've only averaged .248. Will they be able to contain Start's hitters?
