Carlin's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dylan Ramirez, who scored 5 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 steals. Ramirez is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Leonidas Krantz was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 steals.
Round Mountain's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Blake Bullington led the charge by scoring 13 points along with 9 steals and 6 assists. Bullington is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Keiran Swafford, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Carlin's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-3. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.7 points per game. As for Round Mountain, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Carlin will head out on the road to face off against Excel Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Round Mountain, they will face off against Eureka at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Eureka will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
