The Brookfield Warriors will be home for the holidays to greet the Maplewood Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brookfield has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

That makes it six consecutive games in which Fortuna has scored at least 25% of Brookfield's points. Brandon Hardman was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Maplewood's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Pymatuning Valley an easy 79-54 win. While losing is never fun, Maplewood can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 733rd, while Pymatuning Valley is ranked 221st).
The victory got Brookfield back to even at 3-3. As for Maplewood, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-6.
Brookfield was able to grind out a solid victory over Maplewood when the teams last played back in December of 2022, winning 65-55. Will Brookfield repeat their success, or does Maplewood have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
