Bendle and Genesee are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Bendle Tigers will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Genesee Wolves at 5:30 p.m.
Bendle suffered their biggest loss since December 6, 2023 on Friday. They were outmatched by Genesee on the road and fell 66-34. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Bendle in their matchups with Genesee: they've now lost five in a row.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Emma Mose, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssah Belcher, who scored eight points.
Bendle has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Genesee, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Bendle took a serious blow against Genesee when the teams last played on Friday, falling 66-34. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Genesee's Averie Zinn, who almost dropped a triple-double on 36 points, nine rebounds, and 18 steals. Now that Bendle knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
