Crosspointe Christian Academy really took it to Legacy Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 76-33 victory at home. Crosspointe Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 21 points or more this season.
Crosspointe Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Neby Yewubneh led the charge by scoring 23 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Yewubneh has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Quinton Ford was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven steals and two blocks.
Heartland Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Crosspointe Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Thursday's matchup is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Heartland Christian have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 24.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Crosspointe Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32.5 rebounds per game.
