Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Jenks Trojans, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They had to suffer through a rough 49-21 loss at the hands of the Spartans. Jenks was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.
Bixby had a senior duo take command as Kordell Gouldsby gained 180 total yards and five touchdowns and Jett Turner rushed for 252 yards while picking up 10.1 yards per carry. Turner was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 50 yards. Another player making a difference was Clay Peters, who threw for 63 yards and two touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes.
Jenks' loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Bixby, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.
