The Todd County Falcons put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Cheyenne-Eagle Butte/Tiospaye Topa 44-12 on the road. The result was nothing new for Todd County, who have now won seven matches by 22 points or more so far this season.
Ty Valandra was his usual excellent self, rushing for 281 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 16.5 yards per carry. Valandra really tore up the turf during one magnificent 91-yard run. Aden Good Voice got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Todd County's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points per game. As for Cheyenne-Eagle Butte/Tiospaye Topa, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4.
Todd County will face off against Winnebago at 7:00 p.m. on November 4th. Winnebago has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 254 points over their last five matchups. Cheyenne-Eagle Butte/Tiospaye Topa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
