The Kings Park Kingsmen scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They came out on top against Floral Park Memorial by a score of 49-37. That 49-37 margin sets a new team best for Kings Park this season.
Gianna Zawol continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with eight steals. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Currier, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and four blocks.
The win got Kings Park back to even at 2-2. As for Floral Park Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kings Park will be home for the holidays to greet East Islip at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Floral Park Memorial will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Holy Trinity at 5:00 p.m. on January 17, 2024.
