This season hasn't been kind to the Southern Lee Cavaliers, who are still winless after their 16th match. They had to suffer through a rough 76-23 loss at the hands of Pinecrest. If Southern Lee was looking for revenge after losing 73-26 to them when the teams met on Friday, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Pinecrest was led to victory by Zanodiya Mcnair and Ashoneca King. Mcnair scored 11 points along with four steals, while King scored 11 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points King has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nor'Miya McNeill, who scored a point along with five steals.
Southern Lee's defeat was their tenth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Pinecrest, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southern Lee will take on the Bucks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pinecrest, they will head out on the road to face off against the Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
