Meanwhile, Forest Park pushed their score all the way to 56 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 67-56 to South Spencer.
Mt. Vernon has not been sharp recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-17 record this season. As for Forest Park, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.
