In what's become a running theme this season, the St. John Bosco Braves gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They really took it to Orange Lutheran for the full four quarters, racking up a 87-59 win at home. Given St. John Bosco's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Lancers are ranked 187th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Leading St. John Bosco to victory were Elzie Harrington and Brandon McCoy Jr. Harrington scored 19 points along with seven steals, while McCoy Jr scored 27 points along with three blocks. McCoy Jr hasn't dropped below 19 points for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Jack Turner, who scored 11 points.
