After losing to Lamar County the last time they met, South Lamar decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The South Lamar Stallions came out on top against the Lamar County Bulldogs by a score of 38-28 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Stallions.

South Lamar is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season. As for Lamar County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.

South Lamar and Hamilton will round out the year against one another at at 10:00 a.m. on December 27th. As for Lamar County, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Carbon Hill at 5:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
