On Monday, The Yarmouth/North Yarmouth Academy faced the Brunswick Dragons in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Yarmouth/North Yarmouth Academy fell just short of Brunswick by a score of 48-46. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
It was another big night for Cam Beal, who rushed for 84 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 178 yards and two touchdowns while completing 79.2% of his passes. Liam Scholl was another key contributor, picking up 128 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Yarmouth/North Yarmouth Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Brunswick, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-3.
