The Eisenhower Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Nimitz Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eisenhower has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Eisenhower scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Aldine 100-57 at home. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Nimitz's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 50-39 to Westfield.
The losing side was boosted by Dominic Samuel, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jaden Bergeron, who scored eight points.
Eisenhower's win bumped their record up to 7-25. As for Nimitz, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-12.
Eisenhower was taken down by Nimitz 67-37 in their previous meeting back in January. Can Eisenhower avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
