Volleyball Recap: Zane Trace Snags Fifth Win in Last Six Games

Zane Trace won the last time they faced Hillsboro, and Reise Grant did her part to make sure it happened again. The Pioneers came out on top against the Indians by a score of 2-0 on Saturday with plenty of help from Grant, who had 15 digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

While Zane Trace won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-11.

Zane Trace has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Hillsboro, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-5.

Zane Trace wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Western Brown on the 13th. As for Hillsboro, they will square off against McClain at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
