Ocracoke has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 37 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech 66-29 at home.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Albemarle School, who are still winless after their sixth match. They were beaten by Mattamuskeet 69-29 on Tuesday. Albemarle School has not had much luck with Mattamuskeet recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Albemarle School's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Joseph Dunn, who scored 9 points along with 5 steals, and Chase Wentz who scored 0 points.
Ocracoke's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Albemarle School, they have yet to win a match at home this season, leaving them with a 0-6 record.
