Pueblo County has been on the road for four straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Pueblo East Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Thursday, Pueblo County came up short against Pueblo South and fell 58-46.
Meanwhile, Pueblo East's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a 58-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pueblo Central. Pueblo East has not had much luck with Pueblo Central recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Despite the loss, Pueblo East got a solid performance out of Jaden Garcia, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Izaiah Trujillo was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Pueblo County has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season. As for Pueblo East, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-15.
