Curtis Baptist's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Maci Butler, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds. Butler hasn't dropped below two steals for 15 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Nyla Robinson, who scored six points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Charleston Collegiate has not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Curtis Baptist, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-5.
