The Christian Community Warriors came tearing into Monday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 52-21 victory over Heritage Christian at home. Considering Christian Community has won four games by more than 29 points this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Seth Roberts, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Doeringer, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and seven steals.
Christian Community has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Heritage Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Christian Community will head out on the road to face off against Westside Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Heritage Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lawrence Upper at 5:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
