Tongue River won the last time they faced Greybull and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Buffaloes by a score of 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 23-25, 25-16.

Chaney Reish paced Tongue River's offense, picking up 23 kills. Reish got some help from Aubrey Kelty and her 39 assists. Lily Maslowski controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Greybull's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Shayne Cheatham, who had 12 digs, and Sherlyn Diaz Rios, who had eight digs. Cheatham has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Tongue River has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Greybull, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 14-9.

Looking ahead, Tongue River will challenge Burns at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greybull, after both having extra time off, they and Rocky Mountain will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on the 17th.
