Elizabeth waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Hicks Pirates by a score of 6-3. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 5-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Elizabeth pushed their record up to 19-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Hicks, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elizabeth will head out to take on Plainview at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hicks, they will venture away from home to face off against Fairview at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
