While St. Michael's  win against Santa Fe Indian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Horsemen won by a  set and slipped past the Braves  3-2. The  victory was nothing new for the Horsemen as they're now sitting on three straight.
 The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was St. Michael's who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-17, 22-25, 25-18, 21-25,  15-9.
Their offense was headlined by  Larissa Rodriguez and  Ava Lewis, who picked up 13 kills apiece. They got some help from  Emily Villanueva and her 21 assists. She was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with three aces.
St. Michael's win bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Santa Fe Indian, their loss  ended  an  eight-match streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 11-4.
