The Anna Coyotes were the 70-27 winner over the Van Alstyne Panthers when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Anna fell 55-43 to Van Alstyne on Tuesday.
Despite the loss, Anna still got an impressive performance from Jacob Emmers, who scored 15 points along with seven assists. Sean Steens was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Anna dropped their record down to 16-14 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Van Alstyne, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-17.
Anna will head out on the road to challenge Ranchview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Anna focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Tuesday. As for Van Alstyne, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Celina at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
